Rather than “shoe horn” a catalog component or system to “fit” the application or modify your requirements to suit an available design, we examine each application as unique opportunity. Our History

Enpure Process Systems, based in Plymouth, MA, was founded in 1991 as a manufacturer of custom designed water treatment systems to OEM suppliers, such as Culligan, US Filter, and Wheelabrator. With a continual emphasis on cost control and innovative solutions to difficult applications in all water treatment methodologies, the business grew. The customer base expanded to include direct sales to end users in all major industries, including Power Generation (Midwest), Semi-conductor (IBM and Lucent), Beverage (Pepsi Cola and Brown Foreman) and Specialty Chemical (Cabot).

In 2000, the founding management relinquished control of the company. While new management maintained the company’s core principles, the sales efforts were consolidated internally and redirected to focus on new growth, primarily in semi-conductor markets. Sales stagnated as customers consolidated and pulled back.

In 2006, the founding management retook control and implemented a bold new marketing and manufacturing plan to expand sales and reduce costs. The company’s core skills in engineering, design, quality control and procurement were maintained in house. Direct Sales efforts were outsourced to Manufacturer Representatives to expand our reach and provide more continuous contact to our customers and markets. Manufacturing “partners” with low cost structures in strategic locations were enlisted to provide fabrication and assembly services, eliminating costly overheads and providing access to more competitive labor rates.

In 2014, in an effort to be closer to our many customers along the Gulf Coast, and to reduce our manufacturing costs with pass-through savings to our customers, the company relocated its offices to the Houston area.

To ensure that those designs result in cost-effective solutions that conform to our customer's specifications, we control those elements that are essential to success, and outsource the rest to our "partners". This allows us to maintain a close channel of communication while continuously monitoring the progress.
